| Lacey Kennels started breeding Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens in 1989. We have been lucky enough to be the home of Multiple Best In Show, Best in Specialty Show, multiple group winners, specialty winners, over 150 champions and many top ten dogs. Breeding healthy, happy dogs is very important to us. All of our dogs are completely guaranteed. It is important to remember that while the PBGV is a humorous companion, that they are not a dog for everyone. | I had shown Border Collies for years but obtained my first Border Collie only back in 2008. I have moved slowly in the breed to make sure that my dogs retain the natural herding instinct and correct breed type as well as being healthy with a wonderful family member temperament. I have been very lucky! Monty from my first litter has done very well indeed in the ring. He has been nationally ranked both years that he has been shown and is still very much a youngster. It has been lots of fun doing their herding instinct tests and obedience with Zipper. We are so excited about being a part of this wonderful breed and look forward to the new adventures that they will bring us! |
